The 22nd Annual General Assembly of Bauddha Jagaran Sangh was successfully held on Bhadra 22, 2083 B.S. at the Sanchayakosh Building, Lagankhel, Lalitpur. More than 150 members and participants attended the assembly, where important discussions were held regarding the organization’s annual progress, financial status, and future plans.
The program was chaired by Kaila Lama, President of Bauddha Jagaran Sangh, with Buddha Maharjan, Member of the House of Representatives from Lalitpur Constituency No. 1, as the Chief Guest. The event was also graced by the presence of the Sangh’s senior spiritual teacher and Vipassana Meditation Guru, Venerable Khenpo Dr. Karma Sangbo, along with other distinguished guests.
The program was inaugurated by Bhima Lama, Secretary of Bauddha Jagaran Sangh. Following the remarks from the distinguished guests, President Kaila Lama presented the organization’s annual progress report, while Treasurer Som Lama presented the annual income and expenditure statement.
During the assembly, the organization’s official website was also introduced. Suman Tamang, a lifetime member of the Sangh and the website developer, gave a brief presentation on the website’s purpose, structure, and usage. The website has been developed to systematically share the Sangh’s activities, programs, notices, and other important organizational information with the public.
The assembly also included discussions on the organization’s past achievements and future plans. Members and guests emphasized the need to further strengthen the Sangh’s social and institutional activities and make its upcoming initiatives more effective and impactful.
At the conclusion of the program, President and Chairperson Kaila Lama expressed gratitude to all the guests, members, and participants for their valuable presence and support, formally bringing the 22nd Annual General Assembly to a close.
